Process for the Revision of the APCP Statutes

Dear APCP Members,

As you are aware, the APCP Board, elected for the 2025–2027 term, identified the revision of the Association's Statutes as one of its priorities.

Accordingly, the Board has submitted a proposal for the revision of the Statutes to the APCP General Assembly Board, which is attached to this message. The document also includes a brief context and the rationale behind the proposed changes.

In this context, and as President of the APCP General Assembly Board, I consider it important to open a period of public consultation, open to all members, regarding the proposed revision. The aim is to gather comments and suggestions from members before the proposal is discussed and voted on at a General Assembly meeting to be convened for that purpose.

The consultation process will take place between September 1 and 15, 2025.

The date of the General Assembly meeting for the discussion and vote on the proposed revision of the Statutes will be announced in due course through the official APCP communication channels.
