APCP Prize 2018

The Portuguese Political Science Association is pleased to announce that the "Prize for the Best Doctoral Dissertation", (6th Edition) was attributed to Jovana Ranito, PhD, at the IX APCP Congress, 2018. The PhD dissertation, entitled "Why doesn't it work? US regulatory challenges in outsourcing private use of violence in stability operations", was defended in 2016 at the Universidade de Coimbra.

The prize was presented by the President of APCP, Prof. Carlos Jalali and the President of the Jury, Prof. João Cardoso Rosas, at the Plenary Session on April 20, 2018, the last day of the 9th APCP Congress held in Braga, at the Minho University.
