FLAD AWARD Winner

The APCP congratulates Bruno Rocha, winner of the FLAD Political Science Prize that rewards the best master's thesis in the areas of Political Science and International Relations.

Bruno Rocha completed his master's degree in 2021 at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. The thesis entitled “A Nation in a World of Status: The Echoes of the Representations of the ‘German Nation’ in International Status-Seeking Practices” was supervised by Prof. Madalena Meyer Resende (APCP President) and Prof. Nuno Monteiro. Bruno Rocha, a member of this association, also had a very important collaboration with the APCP at the IPSA Congress in Lisbon (2021), having also been part of the LOC (Local Organization Committee).

The award consists on the offer of the participation in the next international congress of the International Political Science Association (IPSA), which will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 15 to 19 July 2023, as well as 2 years of membership in this same association .
